JDR Counseling Services is here for you, your family, and your community. Since 1999, I have worked in Dubuque and NE Iowa assisting adults, parents, teenagers and children. Promoting mental health and positive connections in your life is what I strive to do.
Using Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and other evidenced based techniques, we will explore and address what you are looking to change in your life. I believe counseling should be both enjoyable and effective, and we will work together to create a positive relationship to achieve both. I have a wide range of clinical interests, and have extensive experience and training in working with adolescents/teenagers, family relationships, and trauma. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing sports, helping out in the community, and mowing my lawn.
